Know what context Chat is using

Kam can use the selected screen object, the active result, and bounded conversation context—but you should restate an object whenever it could be ambiguous.

Where context comes from

  1. 1Your messageThe words you enter identify the job and any league, game, date, wallet, or saved object you name.
  2. 2The screen handoffAsk Kam actions can attach the game, Watchlist item, trader comparison, or visible portfolio thesis selected on that screen.
  3. 3The active resultA linked Table, Chart, or Detail view can keep one structured object available for a follow-up.
  4. 4The bounded threadRecent turns help interpret a short follow-up such as “Which one?” when the previous answer has a clear list.

When short references are safe

Open that game

Use after the immediately preceding answer contains one clearly ranked game.

Compare those two wallets

Use after exactly two wallets are selected or named.

Show its source receipt

Use when the active result contains one resolved market object.

When to restate the object

For {away team} at {home team} on {date}, what changed?

Remove ambiguity between repeated matchups or dates.

For wallet {wallet}, use the {time period} window

Bind a trader question to one wallet and measurement period.

Start a new question about my Watchlist

Make an intentional job change without carrying a game or trader object forward.

Context is not permission

Private portfolio entries are not included in Ask Kam context. A screen can preserve the selected object without exposing unrelated saved work. Start a new question when you change jobs instead of building one long mixed-purpose thread.
